Thank you for taking the time to visit my website, see my work and learn a bit about me as a photographer. Landscape, nature and adventure photography is what started my passion for photography, which I still partake in whenever I can today. Having lived in various parts of the Canadian Rockies for nearly 15 years, I wore a number of hats including working as an ACMG hiking guide before starting my wedding and portrait photography business. Now based in Golden, BC, I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring a new backyard in the mountains both recreationally and professionally.  I shot my first wedding for my business in 2012 with a very adventurous couple who wanted their wedding off the beaten path. I knew right away that I wanted to do more weddings of their nature (pun intended). I love to work with couples who share a deep appreciation for the outdoors, possibly have an adventurous flair for life either with outdoor pursuits or travel, and are seeking a less conventional, more authentic and creative approach to how they want their wedding documented. I believe that every wedding is unique, and offers a great opportunity to showcase a couples love from all levels on a wedding day. There is no greater achievement than catching those beautiful little moments that speak volumes of who they are as a couple and how they share love with their families and friends. That is what pushes me as a keen observer and keeps me excited for each and every wedding I am fortunate to photograph.

As a personal side, my favourite way to spend a day is in the great outdoors. I love skiing (resort and backcountry), rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking and backpacking. I am also an avid traveler who tries to explore a new part of the world every year. My side kick in life is a sweet little husky named, Neve. She joins me for most adventures and is the usual topic of discussion amongst my dog loving couples. She's pretty adorable.

What I am most excited for, with the coming year (2018), is the opportunity to do more travel with my work. I have a wedding booked in Ireland for August of next year and another working portraiture opportunity in Norway for October. I personally intend on visiting Europe again this spring (destination TBA). If there is one thing I love just as much as photography, it is travel. Please do not hesitate to reach out with inquiry to another part of the world, or even Canada for that matter. I am very likely to say a "heck yeah" if I am able to join you.

Again, I thank you for taking the time to see my work, and read a bit about me. I would love to connect and see where it takes us. Until then, warmest wishes and most sincere gratitude for your time. xo
