There are not enough adjectives to express how much I loved this engagement session. Getting to photograph Emily and Kogan, in the Highwood Pass alpine, during peak fall larch season was beyond incredible. Add to this, a long, flowy, full length blue dress on beautiful Emily... I nearly burst with excitement!
I should add that the temps were around 6 degrees celsius. There was fresh snow on the mountains, only a couple days old. The wind was howling (highwood pass is commonly nicknamed "highwind pass"). Emily did not flinch during our session. She braved the cool temps and cold wind with absolute grace. Truly a pleasure to photograph. I would also like to add that Kogan handled it with his charming big smile, always game to try a new idea for a photo. These two could not have been more enjoyable to work with.
I can hardly wait to join them again in August of 2017 for their lovely wedding held at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. It will be so great to photograph these two outdoor loving souls in their natural habit, high above the valley, again!
Thank you again for the amazing session you two! xo
